Water Tube Coolers

Water tube coolers are an indirect type heat exchanger similar to a Steam Tube Dryer. Instead of steam filled tubes, the tubes are flooded with water. Heat is transferred from the materials that is moving through the cooler and tumbling over the tubes to the water inside the tubes. The water tube cooler is generally more efficient than air coolers. They also do not require air handling equipment as part of the process.

Rotary Air Coolers

No Water Available? No Problem

The LDC rotary air cooler is designed similar to the Direct-Fired Dryer, but instead of heated air, ambient air is used. Heat is transferred from the material moving through to the ambient air. Our rotary air coolers operate in a counter current flow for better thermal efficiency.
